The best way to acclimatize to Telluride’s high altitude environment is to join us for a half-day snowshoe tour. Available in the morning or the afternoon, we will take you into one of our region’s most beautiful areas to skip through Colorado ‘s infamously light snow. Telluride’s proximity to beautiful mountains enables you to experience wild places and still be back in town for a café lunch.

Our Kids’ Snowshoe Adventures specialize in sledding, snowman-building and hot cocoa drinking. Your children will have the chance to explore Telluride’s most beautiful places with our experienced and fun guides. Plan a winter adventure for the young people in your family in which they can learn about cultural and natural history, leadership, teamwork and personal growth through fun activities and games. These trips are designed to give kids an experience with the natural world they will never forget. We accept children age 5 and up. From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
